In this episode of Ara Ara The Weeb Podcast, we take you through one of the most unforgettable weekends we’ve ever had by becoming official event ambassadors for JPEX 2025, meeting the legendary Hiroshi Kitadani, and appearing on national TV through Dubai One’s DXB Today.

As first-time ambassadors, we got to experience JPEX from a whole new perspective. One of the biggest highlights was watching Hiroshi Kitadani perform “We Are!” and other iconic One Piece hits live on stage.

We also shared what it felt like to be featured on TV for the first time and reflected on how far the anime scene in the UAE has come.

Get ready for our biggest convention adventure yet! In this episode of Ara Ara The Weeb Podcast, we’re sharing everything that went down at Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) 2025, from our celebrity encounters to stepping on stage for the first time!

We met Emily Rudd, the actress who plays Nami in Netflix’s One Piece live-action, and yes, she was as amazing in real life as she is on screen!

We also had the honor of interviewing ASH DA HERO, the Japanese rock band behind Blue Lock's OP “Judgement,” right after their electrifying performance.

Plus, we hit the MEFCC stage for our very first live panel with Japan in Arabia, where we talked about all things Japan, Japanese culture, and the growing fandom community in the UAE.

On top of all that, Amy joined MEFCC’s film competition and brought home the Best in Editing award! Talk about a weekend full of wins!
