Hi everyone,
After 30 odd years of producing my weekly program BluesBeat, I'm hanging up the mic! Last regular program will be this week's edition #1520
I figure at 71, I deserve some time to go travelling, etc, and with weekly deadlines, that becomes difficult.
However, I will be maintaining and adding to my 24/7 Mixcloud Live stream https://www.mixcloud.com/live/bluesbeatradio/
I can add complete programs from my archive, any new program I may do in the future, and indeed individual tracks. So I would suggest you check that address out if you havent already done so.

I wish to thank my loyal listeners, bands, record companies,PR people and other stations and online streams that have taken BluesBeat over the years for their great support thus far.
While I will definitely continue to produce some programs, it will not be weekly, as I no longer want weekly deadlines.
While all my past programs (approximately 550+ programs) are available at Mixcloud the stream will play these and other material at the address below
