..Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northwestern Seneca,
western Sandusky, Wood, northern Hancock and southwestern Lucas
Counties through 300 AM EDT...

At 208 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Whitehouse to near Deshler to near
Holgate. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Findlay, Bowling Green, Fostoria, Perrysburg, Waterville, Whitehouse,
North Baltimore, Gibsonburg, Woodville, McComb, Weston, Elmore,
Arcadia, Van Buren, Pemberville, Haskins, Luckey, Bradner, Grand
Rapids and Wayne.

LIMITED TRAVEL BAN UPDATE
Ohio Turnpike & Indiana Toll Road

INDIANA TOLL ROAD: Starting on Wednesday, February 2 at 12:00 a.m (EST) through Thursday, February 3 at 6:00 p.m., the following vehicles are not permitted on the Toll Road:

ALL triple tractor-trailers, ALL doubles, High-profile steel haulers
High-profile oversize permit loads. All other vehicle types are permitted to travel on the Indiana Toll Road.

OHIO TURNPIKE: The Ohio Turnpike has issued a Travel Ban for all High-Profile Vehicles from Toll Plaza 2 to Toll Plaza 239, effective Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 07:00 am through Friday, February 4, 12:00 pm.

The implemented Travel Ban will be continually evaluated throughout the duration of the storm.

When a Travel Ban is placed into effect, the following types of vehicles shall be banned from traveling the Ohio Turnpike until the Travel Ban is canceled:

All triple-trailer combination commercial vehicles
Box-type double-trailer combination commercial vehicles in excess of ninety (90) feet in length.
Mobile home / Office trailers.
Boat and horse trailers towed by passenger vehicles or pickup trucks.
High-profile campers and enclosed trailers, which are defined as trailers designed for a person of average height to stand in.

Not included in the Travel Ban are self-propelled motor homes, low-profile trailers, fold-down camper trailers, pickup trucks with slide-on camper units, vehicles towing fifth-wheel type trailers, or any other type of trailers towed by passenger vehicles or pickup trucks. Also, excluded from the Travel Ban are commercial trucks towing single flatbed or box-type trailers, flatbed double-trailer combinations in excess of ninety (90) feet and any double-trailer combination commercial vehicles less than ninety (90) feet.

I would like to Welcome everyone to the new scanner page for Seneca, Hancock and Wood counties. This is a public page to relay weather events/alerts and for any type of EMS, Fire, Police Scanner traffic within those counties. Please like this post to show me that you have read and understand the rules of the page.

We do have very few rules for this page, they are as follows:
1. Be kind and Courteous to others, this includes no name calling or racial slurs. Debates are healthy and a part of everyday living, however, we ask that you keep the debates healthy and without name calling. Please remember that it is okay for others to have a view that is different than your own.

2. Since this page is specifically designed for Weather and Scanner information, we please ask that you do not post your LOST PETS on this page. We ask that you find your counties corresponding Lost Pets page for that.

3. We ask that your keep the curse words to a minimum. Please refrain from using the word f**k on this page as it will not be tolerated.

4. When making a weather or scanner posting on this page, please make sure you post which town and county you are referring to so that people do not get too confused.
