Another interesting idea to play the reboot:

The Saints had to make some type of deal with the government to supervise/train Johnny Tag. He gets sent to Marshall and somehow gets updated, way smarter or this is a different clone from last time. This one gets fed up of getting ordered around heavily. Not being reconsidered for his huge progress in his behavior etc.

His new trio of friends in Santo Ileso only show how innocent he still is & his big heart. Not to be mistaken, he's a monster to many in more than one way. With or without Boss's consent he forms this new crew to then learn he needed Boss at the very end ... Still worth the experience Tag might think when smiling to sunset at the end with his 3 new friends. This is after Boss takes care of his Nahualli problem in that rooftop.

Throughout the story we can have other Saints from past games, play a role in Tag's old memory of what G*t was. As if these people are still there fighting along side him. People like Aisha, SR2 Shaundi, Carlos and maybe more. SR3/4 Boss, Pierce & Shaundi can appear for real. Last but not least, we can have his original creator Jimmy Torbitson make appearances in areas like larpping. Probably watching over the big guy from a far with minimum help or something...

Here's a very interesting idea if you're looking for reasons to play the reboot: Mainly play as Shaundi (SR2) or "Fun" Shaundi as they call her in SR4. HEAR ME OUT, IT'LL MAKE FULL SENSE AFTER I'M FINISHED. The context could be that Boss got tired or worried about her ongoing situation/behavior of being a burden. In response to that Boss sends her to military school / Marshall to recover from Loa Dust (drug), parties and sleeping around...

Now, you might ask: WHY would Boss care? Well, Shaundi knows a lot about the life so it's either help her or else he/she might be forced to do something they don't want ... Which previously in SR2, it's something Boss warns Shaundi multiple times about it. Another thing is that Boss already lost Carlos for taking all the responsibility for him. That's why this time Boss rathers for someone else to take care of her. That and as he/she claims "they aren't a babysitter".

Then as seen in the reboot story; Shaundi recovers and becomes another Boss of the new crew in Santo Ileso. She becomes more defensive but still aims to have some fun in the process. Of course, she receives support from her main Boss for being on their side again. Support from her other direct friends like Tobias for helicopter missions, his wife Laura, Pierce, and even "Zombie Carlos". Either she connects with Carlos through a black magic spell from Sons of Samedi & Marshall's high tech? or ... she's still high on Loa Dust.

Carlos is not just some guardian angel but a reflection of Shaundi if she fails at the life she picked. He's her instant muscle help beyond human capacity & guidance to not end like he did. In the other hand he might not get enough help from her and this is where we also ask if he's part of her delusion, if he's a spirit, being controlled or just very humble.

To finalize, this can be the story on how Shaundi became SR3 Shaundi.

Fun Shaundi - Marshall & Idols missions + more.
CarloZ - Panteros missions + more.
SR3 Shaundi - game's last missions.
Josh Birk - bunch of silly missions & ventures to stalk Shaundi. Missions such as larpping..? Not all.
Asha Odekar - secret spy-like missions. Not necessarily affiliated with the Saints yet.
Tobias - heli missions
Pierce - easy missions? Lol

Movie/GMV} "Saints Row: Another Shot to Heaven" (starring: Carlos Mendoza ft. Boss)

where do I/we start? and I mean it in a good way. The video is there and it's waiting on unique feedbacks ... The meaning can be a lot, even too much or just the necessary.

Here's my meaning and purpose for this creative fun mess. Again, "mess" in a good way. Anyway, (1) I did this to give more meaning to the reboot game. We all know the common complaints from everywhere and no solutions about it. At least no fun or creative solution, like I've done here. Hope you enjoy, I did it for us fans. And if not perfect, then I took one for the team. (2) entertainment for the SR movie we never had (3) to tribute past games and characters. I'm sure there's more undefined reasons, though these are top.

My most relevant story logic:

After G*t asks God to recreate Earth in GooH, the reboot happens and Carlos Mendoza (SR2) leads the Saints (for better story-motives). Remember that this is another universe/maybe parallel.

So as G*t hoped for - some of the OG Saints reunite in this new Earth. To his/our surprise the Saints are not who they were or even not Saints at all. You see G*t, Kinzie and Miller as FBI agents to start with. Then The Boss/Nahualli (also for better story-motives) running a criminal organization that is not the Saints. And our dear Carlos running the Row this time. Also let's keep in mind that universes sometimes overlap and so they still share or coordinate with each other. SOME character traits or cause & effects can be the same, etc. Wouldn't like to keep spoiling. Just setting things up for you ...

First song is by a Venezuelan rapper named Canserbero who became one of the best rappers in the Hispanic side community. The song is not just dope but talks about things like 'betrayal' which have to do with the video events, etc. Song called Jeremías 17-5.

The second song features a few artists and it's called 'Payback' from Fast & Furios 7 soundtrack. This song also matches the video events and a part of clips match the F&F style.
