✨I’m on a journey to rediscover who I am—not just as a mom or wife, but as Letisha. I’ve been trying all the things: dressing up just because, learning my Enneagram type (game changer!), starting therapy, and embracing vulnerability around my insecurities and mental health.

✨Truth is—none of it’s perfect, and therapy is definitely not like it looks on TV. But I’m finally showing up for me, and I’m proud of that.

She said “David killed him” with her whole chest 😭—I’ve officially birthed a baby gangster. Jesus, be a fence.

But let’s talk hair. I had 30 minutes before church and a toddler who looked like she didn’t have a mama 😅. So I pulled together this quick, beginner-friendly toddler hairstyle that’s cute, protective, and chaos-approved.

✅ Zigzag part (because I’m fancy now)
✅ Two-strand twists in the back
✅ Puff up top turned into space buns
✅ Beads, a bow, and a twist bang because… she’s a queen 👑

Crazy part? When I had Jael 14 years ago, I couldn’t braid at all. Like, Black hair and zero skills. But growth is real, y’all. Now I’m out here learning, loving, and showing up how I can.

Between long CNA shifts, endless kids’ activities, and consecutive birthday celebrations, I’m holding it all together with duct tape and prayer. If you’re in your ‘doing the most’ era, just know you’re not alone.

If you saw my rebrand, you already know—I'm on a self-discovery journey. And if I’m keeping it real (because lying ain’t in me), I suck at taking care of myself about 80% of the time. 😩

But my goal? To be consistently intentional about how I treat myself. Because sis… in that rare 20% when I actually do make time for me? It’s magical. And I want more of that.

So I’m learning to take intentional time—little things like:

💛 Setting a 15-minute timer, locking my door, and playing Township
💛 Eating hibachi in my car while watching a show before pick-up
💛 Just RESTING when I can

It’s not always perfect, especially with kids and chaos—but when I see time, I take time. And if I can, I make time. Because the truth is, I’m not trying to stress myself into an early grave.

We talk a lot about being strong Black women… but I also want to be a well Black woman. 💆🏽‍♀️

One day, I want the percentages to flip: 80% me, 20% everything else. That’s why I’m taking y’all on this journey—because you were someone before all the titles, and that version of you still matters.

✨ POV: Your kids’ birthdays are one day apart, which means back-to-back celebrations for life! 🎉😂

Jael already has a whole Pinterest board for her Sweet 16—sis is planning an Airbnb with a pool like we’re Caribbean royalty. 😂 But for now, we’re keeping it fun, simple, and budget-friendly! With our debt-free journey back in full swing, we’re saving the big parties for milestone years and focusing on what matters most—making them feel special. 💕

A little decorating, a mini cake, and a fun dinner with friends made their day, and honestly?

That’s all they needed. Sometimes, simple is just as special.
