limited mobility. We want the people who purchase our products to be confident that their items are well-tested, well-built, and well-priced.

So often that job is to remind us about what matters.
Compassion, silliness, time together, expressing our needs or desires, enjoying rest, finding someone else who also appreciates your hobbies and/or your art, and living well today.

Warning! This may surprise you, but if you are a middle child are a rare and endangered species. Modern American families are shrinking. On average there is no middle child in American households anymore. Even household with siblings (plural) are becoming less than normative.

In fact the average household is currently around 1.9 children.
While the average cats in a household are 1.8

All we're asking is for everyone to consider today, did you have siblings? Did you ever wish you had more siblings? Is time to adopt another cat?
Let's not be the generation where middle children are extinct. If all we can do is up the cat stats, then by-gum! Let's do it! Let's fight to keep middle children going.

Are you telling me, it just so happens to be Happiness Happens Day AND International Cat Day at the same time? Today! Coincidence? I don't think so.
It couldn't happen any other way 😽

You don't have to be a millionaire to find happiness, and you don't need to be a millionaire to have cats in your household. Happiness can happen in the midst of very simple everyday life things.

Keep Up Creations employees have some great ideas of what happiness looks like and why cat households manifest it so much easier than anyone else. Here's a few of the ideas they have to share with you today:

Does your cat attack bed sheets or blankets?
Do they see mysterious movements in the great unknown?

Is it only curiosity or orneriness? Or could it be in their genes?

Cats were well know companions on sea-faring vessels. They were most often kept on ships to assist with rodent control & food security.
Vikings were famous for keeping cats both at their homeland and upon their ships. Which brings us to the theory that cats are suspicious of anything the lurks beneath, because their ancient ancestors also might've had to deal with lurking Sea Monster!
Maybe in the past the Vikings' cats were limited in how much they could fight of sea monster in olden days, but now, bed monsters beware! These cats are ready to size up their old revivals in this new era.

If it feels like this year is flying by, take a moment to pause with us.
Early this year Keep Up Creations had to say that final goodbye to it's super senior member. Half the time it feels like it was last week. Other times it feels like it's been years since he was last here bossing us all around 😼 His vocal commands and ways of knocking things off when you're not responding quick enough are all missed.
Surprisingly, none of the younger cats have yet filled this role.

This is your reminder: Slow Down.
Today when your cat meows at you or you're giving some scritches, just spend a few seconds more appreciating them today.
We never truly understand how fast a cat's life time goes, until it's suddenly passed and we're left replaying the memories that shaped us more than we knew or fully appreciated at the time.

Our clowder (cat pack) love to find treasures and goodies, and we the Keep Up Creations hoomans love to find local & quality resources. Farmers Markets are a great location to find your own local goods.
It's not often that you will find specifically cat treats or catnip itself at a farmers market, and that's simply because cats are known for being pickier and/or more discerning than dogs.
So yes! We picked a hard job for ourselves, when we decided to handcraft organic catnip toys & beds. Luckily we have an amazing team of hard working employees who do not let us get by with anything but the best we can provide. Organic catnip only.

Our clowder works hard so you don't have to guess if your cat will like it. In fact, we believe your cats will love it 😻 and that you're going to want to buy more than just one to keep that love coming.

Being a is cool, but it's also very inspiring to see the bond between children the pets that they grow up with. Just like our cats, kids absolutely reveal the world to us in ways that we hadn't experience life before. Having both in the same household is such a beautiful blessing.
Being able to be a kid who's grown up with animals is so impactful.

Studies have shown that children who grow up with pets tend to be more compassionate & empathic as adults, especially for those who create personal bonds with the family pet. Pets teach children about considering the needs of others, having responsibilities, being gentle, and be motivate to have physical playtime.
