"I thoroughly enjoyed this one! I loved how the author weaved fantasy, adventure, and a little bit of romance for a story that kept me engaged and excited to see what would happen next. I even teared up at times and was moved by the ending. Laurelin is brave and caring, doing whatever she can to help her family. I enjoyed the exciting tournament and the secondary characters that became her friends, enemies, and those you weren’t sure where they fell. I love the opportunity to read a fantasy that I can lose myself in, and this one was so well done!"
