Your senior dog is changing. That doesn’t mean you’re out of options. 💜🐾

Changes in sleep, eating habits, engagement, or behavior can be signs that their cognitive wellness deserves more attention.

Clarity was intentionally formulated with Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Cordyceps, Bacopa Monnieri, and Ashwagandha to support the aging canine brain, and now we have published clinical research behind it. 🍄🧠

Imagine hating me and I’m literally just over here obsessed with dogs. 😂🐾

Feeding them real food. Questioning everything. Bringing home another rescue I definitely “wasn’t keeping.” Telling everyone who will listen that their dog deserves better.

Truly scandalous behavior. 💅

💬 What’s the most unhinged thing you do because you love your dogs? 🤔

What’s hiding on your pet’s supplement label? 👀

What if the immune system isn’t the whole problem, but part of a much bigger picture?

The gut, environment, nutrition, stress, and immune function don’t exist in separate boxes. They’re constantly interacting.

That’s why holistic medicine asks a different question: not just “How do we stop this symptom?” but “Why is the body responding this way in the first place?”

Dr. Lisa Fiorenza and Angela dig into what can get missed when we look at one system at a time, and why understanding the whole animal matters.

Turns out, “that’s just how it’s done” has never been a good enough answer for me. 👀

I started asking WHY and it changed the way I looked at food, supplements, veterinary care, and what holistic pet health can actually look like.

Never stop asking questions. Your animals are counting on you. 🌿🐾

Okay, you poured the third glass. Now we can talk. 🍷👀

Read the whole label. Ask your vet questions. Stop accepting “they’re just getting old” as the answer to everything. And please start asking WHY.

Your dog needs you to be curious. 🐾🌿

The more you know, the harder it is to settle for “that’s just how it’s done.” Start here 👉 https://vist.ly/5hfcs

For many veterinarians, mushrooms, adaptogens, and other holistic modalities simply weren’t a significant part of their traditional veterinary education.

That’s why practitioners who pursue additional training in integrative and holistic care can be such a valuable part of your dog’s wellness team.

Your dog’s gut and emotions may be more connected than you realize. 👀

When stress shows up as digestive upset, or chronic symptoms keep coming back, looking at just one part of the body can mean missing the bigger picture.

This week on Your Natural Dog, Angela Ardolino sits down with holistic veterinarian Dr. Lisa Fiorenza to explore what it really means to treat the whole animal.

From the gut-brain connection and chronic health issues to nutrition, pharmaceuticals, acupuncture, and natural support, they break down why finding the root cause can change the way we approach our pets’ health.

“Which mushroom does my dog need?” 🍄🐾

It’s one of the first questions pet parents ask, and it’s a good one. It’s just not the first one we’d ask.

Before comparing Lion’s Mane to Turkey Tail or Reishi to Maitake, look at what’s actually behind those mushroom names.

Where were they grown? What part of the mushroom was used? How were they extracted? What else is in the formula?

You can pick the perfect mushroom species for your dog, but the name on the front of the bottle only tells you so much. Quality matters, too. 👀🍄

😅 Don't worry; we’ll show you what to look for before you decide which mushroom belongs in your dog’s bowl: https://vist.ly/5gijv

Your dog’s sensitivity test says “mushrooms”… but what does that actually mean? 🍄👀

There are thousands of documented mushroom species, so seeing one broad result can leave pet parents with a LOT more questions.

Which mushroom was tested? In what form? Raw, cooked, powdered, or extracted? Those details matter when you’re trying to understand what the result actually tells you about your dog.

Before crossing every functional mushroom off the list, it’s worth asking a few more questions. 🐾

👉 Check out why “sensitive to mushrooms” may not tell you nearly as much as you think: https://vist.ly/5geje
