ZAF DeHavilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver-1979

In the wings the aircraft was loaded with Ammo cases for dropping 1979.
A time when they were wars in most neighboring countries and the Beaver was among key aircraft that could respond swiftly to any border violations.

If the US tries to arrest Putin during the General Assembly, they would have to go through these guys. The US Secret Service takes its mission of protecting people very seriously. Imagine FBI and US SS fighting each other. One to arrest, the other protecting Putin. Wouldn’t that be hilarious?

But more seriously, protection of foreign heads of state falls under Secret Service. It is one of its primary missions. They would plan the trip months in advance with their counterpart from the Russian FSO. Every detail is talked over and planned. They would have teams of dedicated specialists who would plan for every kind of emergency.

If there is court order to arrest Putin, the Secret Service would quietly tell their Russian counterparts about it and highly advise Putin not to make a trip to the US. Otherwise the SS would be in an embarrassing position of defending him from the FBI. State Department would also not issue visas for the Russian President.

This is done not because of the kindness of their hearts. This is done so that Russia and other countries would not try to arrest American president for any imaginary/real crimes. Reciprocity is the key.

He was a weird scientist. He never married and had no children.

Not to belittle his achievements he was a genius, though a lonely one.

He claimed to keep his ideas inside of his brain to keep them from being stolen and therefore avoided human interactions.

He practiced celibacy, even though he never loved a woman he once developed an unusual relationship with a pigeon which he said "I loved that pigeon as a man loves a woman, and she loved me”.

He hated the idea of getting married. 'I do not think you can name many great inventions that have been made by married men”. - Nikola Tesla.

He died at the age of 85 broke and lonely.

To reiterate, Tesla was a genius, though a lonely one and had many patents to his name.

She was his loyal mistress from the time she was 19 and stuck by him to the very end, but I don’t think he loved her as much as he liked her and used her because she fit what he thought a woman should be. She was docile, mostly obedient, and not too intelligent. People who knew her said she was very superficial and had the mind of a bird.

The next choice would be Albert Speer.

Speer was Hi**er’s architect, responsible for designing many of the monolithic N**i structures and turning Berlin into Hi**er’s dream city. Even during the war, they would spend hours together going over the plans and models for the future capital of the N**i Empire.

He gave Speer extraordinary responsibilities as Minister of Armaments and War Production. He let him get away with things that could have seen other men languishing in a Gestapo jail cell. Like Eva, Hi**er simply used Speer as a foil to make him feel like the artist he thought he was.

In the end, the person he liked most wasn’t a person; it was his dog, Blondi.

Animals’ love is unconditional. They don’t care if you’re a brutal dictator, responsible for the death and suffering of millions. They bond with people who treat them right and never question anything.

In the end, he was closer to the dog than he was to any person in his life.

Yes, he was. Albert Einstein was notoriously incapable of remaining faithful to one woman. Female beauty was his greatest weakness, and he wasn’t shy or bashful about the fact — he famously explained relativity as “an hour talking to a pretty woman feeling shorter than a minute of having one’s hand on a hot stove”.

Albert Einstein had mistresses throughout his life. He was unfaithful to his first wife, who was the mother of his three children. He then was unfaithful to his second wife as well, who was also his cousin. The little girl on Einstein’s lap? His adopted granddaughter. Who, as legend has it, may have been an out-of-wedlock daughter fathered by the aging scientist and then adopted by one of his sons to ‘avoid scandal’.

The stereotype we have of Einstein is “somewhat confused, awkward scientist completely obsessed with his work”, but in reality, he was quite socially savvy and quite capable of seducing women, something he did often and ferociously. Women in his life were aware of his proclivities — a great man belongs ‘to the world’, and sharing, as he saw it, was caring.

Some women like their men handsome. Others go for brains. Albert Einstein had no shortage of brains… and no shortage of women in his life. He got around, so to speak, and was sexually active until old age.

Cristiano Ronaldo could soon wave farewell to Manchester United if Erik ten Hag allows him to finally depart in January.

With less than a year left on the two-year contract he penned upon his return to the club from Serie A giants Juventus, it has been claimed that the Red Devils’ boss will not stand in the veteran’s way should he decide to exit Old Trafford for a second time in six months.

During the summer window, Ronaldo and his agent, Jorge Mendes, attempted to engineer a transfer away from the club. Of course, a move did not transpire, but they may have more success in 2023 - particularly with Ten Hag's apparent reticence to use Ronaldo so far during his tenure. Mirror.

Who were some rulers in history that everyone thought would be weak rulers, but turned out to be strong leaders?

Putin.

When president Yeltsin appointed him his prime-minister, the whole country was laughing: “Putin who?”

He got picked by Yeltsin’s aides for his robust loyalty and perceived weakness. He was long relegated to carrying around briefcases for larger movers and shakers. They considered him a stooge, a transitional figure easy to steer and manipulate.

They didn’t last long.
