The Kentucky State Police will share material like this on their social media page with hashtags like , but have not publicly posted about, commented on, or asked for the public’s help in the unsolved murder of Jim Duckett in YEARS.

This is unacceptable to us, especially given the fact that every anniversary, we plead with them to make a statement to the public or even a social media post about Jim’s unsolved murder. They refuse to every year.

What is one of the most bizarre complaints ever filed with the Kentucky State Police?

According to newspaper articles and KSP history, this one tops the list… an alleged incident from 70 years ago that baffled experts, sparked national curiosity, and even inspired Hollywood. 👽

ANNOUNCEMENT (long post- please read!)

Today marks 17 years since Jim Duckett was murdered in his home. Seventeen. Years.

Since our last Podcast episode came out in 2023, we’ve had several people ask us what our “next case” is going to be. Many True Crime Podcasts will cover an unsolved murder for a season, then move on to the next case to cover. Many peole have even reached out to us to suggest cold cases in or around Shelbyville that we should cover next.

We’ve been working on Jim’s case since 2021 when we first messaged Katherine. Since then, we’ve put so much time and effort into making this Podcast to get Jim’s story out, and we feel like we’ve made some good progress along the way, though Jim’s case remains unsolved.

We wanted to let you know what our “next case” is going to be, and when to expect NEW EPISODES from us.

Our “next case” is going to be Jim’s case. Until Jim’s murder is solved, we will not move on to another unsolved murder to cover. We’re not moving on. We’re not going away. We’re not giving up.

Today, we want to announce that you can expect new episodes of our Podcast coming later this month. We’ve got a few new updates for you, some interviews with people close to the case that you’ve never heard from, and we talked to several experts about Jim’s case that we know you’ll want to hear.

His sister was the one to find him when he didn't answer his phone. It's an unimaginable discovery.

Today marks the 16 year anniversary of Jim Duckett’s unsolved murder. We must keep demanding answers and accountability from The Kentucky State Police.

We are not giving up, we are not moving on. We continue, alongside Jim’s family, to seek Justice for Jim, and we hope you will too.
