This cluster of storms moving into the I-64 corridor in central WV is holding its own. At this rate, if it holds together, it could cross into the Virginia border just after midnight.

A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for parts of Carroll County until 1:15 am Wednesday morning. 1-3" of rain has fallen in places with another inch or so expected. Rainfall rates are also nearing 3" per hour. This will likely lead to some flooding.

We've definitely had a variety of high temperatures during the month of May. In Roanoke, high temperatures were in the 50s and 60s at the beginning of May. The warmest high of 87 degrees was recorded on May 8th.
