The breathtaking Baliem valley is located in the central mountains of Papua in Indonesia at an altitude of 1600m, surrounded by majestic slopes. Dressed in a green color spread throughout the valley, Baliem attracts many foreign tourists to visit each year. The valley stretches 72 km and is about 15-31km wide, crossed by the Baliem River that originates in the northern mountains of Trikora, across the Grand Valley, then continues to meander southward and becomes an alluvial river. a huge dump into the Arafura Sea. Along with inherent natural beauty, Baliem valley has become a famous tourist destination in Indonesia and around the world.
