The time has come for The Reign of Jafar! Today is the prerelease date for the latest set of Ravensburger’s Lorcana and the cards are very cool. I love the addition of Bambi IP.
I went in for 2 booster boxes and alas, no enchanted for me 😞
In fact, these 2 boxes seemed a little mid for me. That’s how the gamble of randomness works sometimes.

WE HAVE DRAGONS!!! Happy Tarkir Dragonstorm Prelease Day, fans of collectible cardboard! I could not wait to return to Tarkir and this set does NOT disappoint! I picked up my 2 Play Booster boxes today and got cracking…. And I’m super excited to say that with the exception of one card (the one that I REALLY wanted, btw), I got the rest that I was hoping for. No Elspeth, sadly- so I will resist the urge to buy another box and just buy the single I want for my Angels & Soldiers Commander deck.

Here’s the breakdown for anyone curious (and or neurotic like me-lol):

Box 1:
35 dragons- 19 were unique- 1 was borderless- 4 were had the Dragon showcase border
3 Tempest Hawks (cheap flyer that you can run unlimited number of)
31 rares including 2 lands & 2 of the black borderless showcase cards
5 mythics including Ugin & a foil, dragon showcase frame Mox Jasper!
24 dual lands
5 tricolor lands

Box 2:
32 dragons- 17 were unique
31 rares including 2 lands, 3 black borderless showcase cards & one borderless land
4 Dragon border showcase cards
6 mythics
26 dual lands
7 tricolor lands
3 Tempest Hawks

Happy Archazia’s Island Prerelease Day!
Here’s the stats from the unboxing of 2 boxes:

Box 1
35 Rares, with 4 duplicates in foil
14 Super Rare- no repeats
5 Legendaries- no repeats
And alas, no Enchanted 😞

Box 2
37 Rares with 2 duplicates in foil
12 Super Rares with 1 repeat in foil
5 Legendaries with 1 repeat in foil
And…… 1 Mickey Mouse Enchanted!!!! :)

Happy Lorcana Azurite Sea Prerelease Day! Of course I had to get 2 booster boxes, and though no Enchanteds (sad face), I did get 11 Legendaries and some really awesome cards! I love how every release is adding more variety to support highly themed IP decks.

Happy Foundations prerelease day!!! Of course I couldn’t resist and preordered 2 boxes. I am NOT disappointed. What a cool set. So many staples and great art! Here’s my pulls from rare, mythic and full arts (minus lands).
