TW: This post discusses death

The Squad Ghouls are back tomorrow with a new episode and this one is all about death. This is a topic many people have difficulty discussing, including us at times. The best way to cope with our own mortality is to address it head on and appreciate every day we have.

In this episode, we talk about the importance of death doulas and the critical task of setting up your final affairs. On the lighter side, we discuss some fascinating burial traditions including victorian death photography, the Parsi tower of silence, mummification, and the jazz funerals of New Orleans. Enjoy!

The Bermuda Triangle may have been where Uncle Fester visited in the Addams Family movie from 1991, but it's also a perplexing portal in the Atlantic Ocean. Our next episode discusses the phenomenon of the "Devil's Triangle" and its activity. It is the site of many disappearances of both aircraft and ship, including the plane piloted by Amelia Earhart. We're back with not one, but two new episodes! Well, one was supposed to come out a while ago, but life happened. We've had some fun the last few months checking out the latest horror films, celebrating Pride month, and throwing the most amazing and fun wedding shower for Briana (she gets married in December).
These episodes go further down the witchy rabbit hole by exploring pendulums, palmistry, sigil magic and more.
Our second episode discusses some of the more macabre potential origins of some of your favorite nursery rhymes. Happy listening!

In this episode, we talk about the ghost stories of some of our favorite haunted castles around the world and a little bit of their history, including Bran in Romania, Leap in Ireland, Himeji in Japan, Burg Eltz in Germany, Arundel in England, and Voergaard in Denmark.
