Sorry but this will be a bit of a long post please read to the end...
G'day my Kreepy Kreepers, it's been a while since I last posted any updates on things so here I am to give you all an update on what's been happening. As some of you are aware I recently had a couple of things happen my power was disconnected & I had no food this lasted for a total of 11 days so I was in a bad way.
Also due to not being able to eat for 11 days I ended up in hospital for malnourishment as my body was eating itself to try to survive.
I am still trying to get my diet back to what it should be but it will take time but I am slowly but surely getting back on track.
I have since got the power reconnected & have been able to get food, I had to use every cent I had to be able to do this & with all of this happening I have been seriously contemplating the future of the KSG Brand. I am contemplating on whether I will continue to stream or to just walk away altogether.
I understand that the cost of living etc is always on the rise but if I had been given a little more support on stream in the way of bits, subs etc I would not have been in that situation to start with, if I do decide to continue streaming I would have to see a major increase in support to continue otherwise I'll be back in a similar situation as I was just recently.
I get a very limited income, the payment I get every 2 weeks from the Government barely covers my rent, food, fuel & meds. I often have to sacrifice 1 or more to be able to pay other bills such as Internet etc. Then add things like Spotify so the stream can enjoy music while they watch & other associated costs it mounts up very quickly.
I have approx $13.5K worth of PC hardware & accessories for streaming & yet out of that $13.5k the community has contributed for ( I'm being generous here ) approx $2K of that so I have paid out of my own pocket $11.5K for what I have for streaming. Please note that I am including the previous PC as it is still in use as a NAS ( Network Attached Storage ).
Now this is how it has to go or I will walk away from streaming & never return, it is now a 100% necessity that if I continue streaming that I would have to receive $150 per month in the form of bits, subs etc ( That's Bitties, Subs & Dono's Combined for the month ) to continue this is the minimum amount to keep the power & internet running every month or again I will be back in the same situation in a very short period of time.
No I am not saying this to try & get you all to shell out your money to me, I am saying it as it is how the situation is. If you don't like it that's fine you know where the door is & you're welcome to leave as I am tired of having people say oh we're there for you Kreepy & then do absolutely nothing to help.
I have been streaming for over 4 years & in that time I have seen f**k all in the way of support, I have given away merch that cost me over $1000 to purchase & I did this out of my own pocket & asked for nothing in return.
I have purchased new games out of my own pocket to bring fresh content to the stream, I have paid out good money for emotes that rarely get used as very few sub to be able to access them. I have gone to the trouble of adding things like Tangia & Dixper to give you more interactive ways to be involved in the stream & yet very few have used it.
So it is a lot to think about & like I said if I continue to stream then it is now a necessity that the community starts showing a little more support or I'm done & I'll walk away shut the channel down, I will take the KSG Gaming page offline & I will vanish from the internet altogether never to be seen nor heard from again.
So if you wish to see that happen continue to not support me & it will happen, if you don't want to see that & you enjoy the content I produce think about throwing me a bone in the way of some bitties or a sub or a dono as every little bit helps & I do appreciate everyone that does send bitties, subs & dono's it makes me feel as if it's all worth my time & effort to try & entertain you all.
I have also included pics of the rewards you will get as a follower, a T1 Sub, T2 Sub, T3 Sub, Note : T2 & T3 Subs get all of the follower Emotes & T1 Emotes as well. As a T1, T2 & T3 sub you get a custom made 2560x1440 Wallpaper for your Desktop. If you sub you will receive a Google Drive link in a whisper as so you can download your corresponding tiers wallpaper.
I still haven't come to a concrete decision on the future of KSG as I have a lot of things to consider before making my final decision but as it stands it's 50/50, I may continue I may not.
So there you have it that's the situation like or not it is what it is.
I will post what my decision is once I have made it.
