Nelson Mandela did not go to Nigeria to settle there or demand his own kingdom. He also did not go there to commit crimes. Both Nelson Mandela and Thabo Mbeki went to Nigeria for political and diplomatic reasons, and only for a limited time.
In the early 2000s, Nigerians were among the most liked foreign nationals in South Africa. People enjoyed Nigerian movies, music, and literature. Many South African students even read the Nigerian novel Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe in school, where the main character is Okonkwo.
Over time, however, perceptions began to change as the number of Nigerian immigrants increased. Some South Africans became concerned about issues such as drug trafficking, human trafficking, illegal businesses, and hijacked buildings in cities. These criminal activities created anger and frustration among local communities.
Now they want to establish a kingdom inside South African borders and experience South African citizens to keep quiet....🤐
