Elon Musk after completing his Twitter’s $44b purchase on Thursday October 27, 2022 had took big decision in changing Twitter’s management. And as a result lot of employees especially from Indian region have been fired. On top of list Twitter former CEO Parag Agrawal, Chief Legal Officer Vijaya Gadde and other senior executives have been fired. From sources it is confirmed that approx. 50% of employees have been terminated.

Huge number of employees are fired from the company since Elon Musk has taken the ownership of Twitter. After Musk’s order majority of Indian employees have been laid-off.

The layoffs by Meta expected to affect thousands of employess and an announcement is planned to come in 2nd week of November this year. Meta reported more than 87,000 employees at the end of September. Company officials already told employees to cancel nonessential travel beginning this week, the people said.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg made a video appearance and addressed with the layoff employees on Wednesday. Following then company announced its laying-off 13% of its employees
