UN Watch Executive Director Hillel Neuer, who has fought for Israel for years at the UN podium, wrote on X following the improvement in Israel’s diplomatic relations with Morocco: “No one could ever have imagined that Morocco, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates would be friendlier to Israel than Britain, Canada, and Australia. Muslim countries that are stepping up the fight against Islamists are embracing Israel more and more, while Western governments courting Islamist voters are condemning it more and more.”

Neuer is a Jewish-Canadian international lawyer, activist, and human rights advocate who serves as executive director of UN Watch, based in Geneva. He is known primarily as the most prominent fighter on the international stage against anti-Israel bias at the UN. In the international press, he was even once called “the most hated man at the UN.”
