shut down in Canada!

Operated by ‘Corus’, the Canadian media company dropped the channel due to “financial pressure”. ‘Corus’ also reportedly lost the rights to air Nick shows
on their other networks.

They’re back! Reruns of the Classic NickToons Hey Arnold, The Fairly OddParents & Rugrats are returning to late nite TeenNick!

Multiple episodes of each toon is currently scheduled to start airing Monday, September 8th beginning 11PM EST to 6AM EST. The timing of the content is suspiciously reminiscent of the defunct throwback block NickRewind. Will update if scheduling changes occur.

NOGGIN is back! The preschool streamer is morphing into a new virtual world for kids! (*WITHOUT Nickelodeon)

The former CEO Kristen Kane has bought the rights from Nickelodeon to create a new online experience for slightly older kids full of mini games and new programming! Many phases are planned, it will start as a free service and will eventually become a paid membership that feature both online & virtual experiences Coming soon!

The Paramount merger with younger media giant Skydance is now complete! Paramount Global is now Paramount: A Skydance Corporation.

David Ellison, the new CEO desires to “…transform Paramount—a company with a storied history and an undeniable impact on culture for over a century—by investing in high-quality storytelling and cutting-edge technology and pursuing opportunities that will help define the next era of entertainment.”
No specific details have been given on how this will directly impact Nickelodeon and its countless IP & sister networks.

BREAKING: Nickelodeon CEO Brian Robbins steps down!
After much speculation due to the imminent Paramount merger with Skydance his position will be filled by Skydance holdover David Ellison. In an internal memo Robbins was quoted saying “At Nickelodeon, I’m especially proud of how we honored the iconic heritage of the brand while building new connections with today’s generation through innovative content, smart digital strategy, and deep franchise expansion;”

The media veteran had a long history at the Orange network writing & producing episodes of classics ‘All That’, ‘Kenan & Kel’ & ‘Cousin Skeeter’. He began serving as Nick CEO in 2018 and made his mark by encouraging collaboration between different divisions of the mountainous company.
