The ODM Parliamentary Group meeting held yesterday was officiated by party leader Raila Odinga. The meeting took place in Machakos County and brought together ODM legislators and leaders from across the country.

During the session, Raila Odinga emphasized the importance of unity and focusing on service delivery and the implementation of agreements signed with the government, rather than being distracted by early election campaigns.

Raila reiterated that while ODM is cooperating with the ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that lasts until 2027, the party has not yet adopted any resolution on how it will approach the 2027 elections nor decided on a presidential candidate. He refuted claims that ODM will not field a candidate, affirming that the party has a clear plan it is implementing and will give direction at the appropriate time.

The meeting was also marked by the spirit of celebrating ODM's 20 years of resilience and service.

Recruitment of Police Constables to the National Police Service.

Applicants shall be required to meet the following minimum requirements:
a) Be a citizen of Kenya;
b) Hold a Kenya National Identity Card;
c) Age: 18 – 28 years;
d) Minimum grade in KCSE D+ (with minimum of D+ in English or Kiswahili)
e) Be physically and medically fit;
f) Minimum Height: Male 5ft 8in., Female 5ft 3in.;
g) Have no criminal record or pending criminal charges.
