Is it Halloween yet?

I’ve saved this outfit for the day I can fit it again. Why? Because in this photo I’m self conscious, I’m aware I’m not a size 2 still. I’m aware I jiggle, I’m aware it isn’t perfect. So then why keep the outfit? Because today, I don’t actually care about those things. Not many people are a size 2, and I bet they struggle in their own way. No one is perfect, but no one isn’t beautiful. It’s okay to jiggle, I possess skin, fat, muscle, organs and blood; it would be weirder if I didn’t. It’s also okay to be self conscious, but counter with confidence. At this time don’t fake it, actually accept who you are.

I bet the next time I wear this piece it looks 100% better, because I feel better.

Love yourself, don’t compare yourself to others. If we all stopped that I bet the world would be a little less stressful.

If you’ve been following me for awhile, I had VSG in 2019. I lost 146 lbs. After my baby, I ended up gaining 108 lbs back.

In the meantime, my acid reflux GERD had gotten so severe I was starting to receive damage to my esophagus and teeth.

Therefore a decision was made to revise my VSG to a bypass.

On November 15th I had my surgery. I figured let’s track what happens together.

Here are my before surgery and surgery before pictures.

Finally, after 4 years I was able to get bypassed. This was decided after the level of GERD I have been experiencing since day 1.

I guess here we go again, however this time is different!
