New beadlocks all set up and ready to go! Thought I would hate them but I reckon they look prettydarn good 💅 The Jimny build is pretty much where I want it, while still being road legal (if we can call it that!)

Up next a heavily modified tow rig to tow the heavily modified Jimny? 🤣 The cycle never ends…

So these are actual beadlocks (got sick of debeading tyres!) and they weight so much less than the steel rims. The tyres stick out a tad bit more as-well so she feel more stable on the road.

That being said we reach the point where the Jimny needs to just become the rock-crawler and all the Overlanding gear needs to move on.

One thing I’ve learned with the Jimny: keeping weight low makes a massive difference off-road.

Whether it’s packing gear or running a long-range tank, the lower the centre of gravity, the more planted the car feels on climbs and side angles.

Small rig = big balance game. 🍑🛻

Fun was had drag racing a Jimny 🏆 We may not have been the fastest but what a vibe!

That turbo set up with the massive tyres is still faster that a nearly stock Jimny but just! (Probably my s**t driving hey!)

Will definitely be back next year! Maybe with something a bit faster 🫣

We all start stock…

Then one day you wake up with beadlocks, a turbo, and a long-range tank wondering where it all went wrong (or right?) 🤷‍♂️😂

At least I don’t have to stop at every fuel stop now, thanks to the long range tank.

Very happy with all the work that has been done over the past few month. Just a broken bolt to drill out and figure out this annoying indicator issue.

Then maybe somw beadlocks 👀 What do you reckon should be the next mod?

A lot of people think long-range tanks are only about fuel capacity — but the real benefit is how it changes weight distribution. 🧐

With the tank mounted low and central, Peach feels far more stable off-road, especially on steep inclines.

No more sketchy moments when the front lifts — just smooth, predictable traction.

Bonus: I’ve ditched the rear jerry cans and roof load. Less weight up high = way better handling.

Even after a proper mud recovery this weekend, the tank’s still spotless underneath — no damage, no drama. 💅
