I started this blog to share tips on modifying the Suzuki JB74 for off-roading and to document my adventures with this build. The idea for the blog came when I was searching for information about the Jimny and had to dig through endless forum pages to find what I needed. Now, I aim to make it easier for fellow enthusiasts by putting everything in one place.

Bought a Cayenne under a month ago and the adventures I have gone on in this thing are already stacking up. 🏕️ Needless to say this year is going to be action packed! 😁😜

4000km since owning the car, needless to say there is a few issue and now some missing trim (more to follow on that!) 🤣

There is a few little mods planned for now but knowing me the cayenne will be on 35s in a year or so 😅

This set up has treated me well, like very well. 👌 Met an epic community of people, made some epic friends and load more than I could every expect.

But there comes a time, when a car owner needs another car because he has ruined the old one. We are at that point!

Before you think thats it for the Jimny, think again! Big plans for this rig but for now we need something else to do the overlanding. Then Peach can become the rockcrawler she needs to be. 🚗

What should the next rig be? No boring suggestions! I need something thats different, can tow and sounds good with an aftermarket exhaust 😉

So not much 4x4ing happening of late cause we have broken the Jimny again 🤣 turns out the slight wheel wobble is not normal.

We think it might be a bent rear axle shaft 👀 well hopefully just that and not the whole axle 🫣 Toyota axles might be the future idea! If someone wants to help a lad out 👀✌️

New beadlocks all set up and ready to go! Thought I would hate them but I reckon they look prettydarn good 💅 The Jimny build is pretty much where I want it, while still being road legal (if we can call it that!)

Up next a heavily modified tow rig to tow the heavily modified Jimny? 🤣 The cycle never ends…

So these are actual beadlocks (got sick of debeading tyres!) and they weight so much less than the steel rims. The tyres stick out a tad bit more as-well so she feel more stable on the road.

That being said we reach the point where the Jimny needs to just become the rock-crawler and all the Overlanding gear needs to move on.
