🚨🚨UNADOPTED?? 🚨🚨

On this week’s episode of Doc Talks, we sit down and chat with Amber Chiapetto.

Amber labels herself as a foster care survivor. He was adopted at a very young age by her mother’s adoptive mother. She recalls her childhood as being very strict, having to take care of her siblings.

At 14, she finds out her adoptive mother is giving her back and returning her into the foster care system. After a few foster homes and an enormous amount of mental and emotional abuse, she found her forever family.

We talk about life today and how the trauma she had as a child affects her today.

On this weeks episode of Doc Talks Doc Brian had a conversation with Kyo Jackson.

Kyo’s parents separated when she was very young. Eventually finding that her mother died of cancer she lived with her dad until he became very abusive.

She then went to live with her grandma. Things seemed great until her grandma became abusive. No one believed her until she started recording the abuse and posting it on social media.

Then she came to find out, less than a year ago, she’s adopted, her real mom is alive!

DESERTED AND ALONE!

On this weeks episode Doc Brian sits down with Bryant Bell.

Bryant identifies as being pansexual. He describes what that means to him. When circumstances forced him to come out to his parents they kicked him out of the house with nowhere to go! Unable to go back to college because his parents refused to pay for it, he struggles to make ends meet.

Being Pride month his story is timely and a reminder everyone deserves to be loved. In the end, love wins.

From Arrest to Redemption!

Lexi, originally from Northeast Arkansas, lived a seemingly normal life with a mom who had an undiagnosed mental health condition which led to a lot of anxiety.

Once in college, she began to use Xanax and Adderall. She was arrested and kicked out of school after a su***de attempt. She now works as a phase 2 director in a woman’s addiction support home.

🚨🚨 Special Memorial Day Episode 🚨🚨

On this special Memorial Day release of Doc Talks, Doc Brian sits down with Micah Briley, Gold Star brother of CWO Donovan Briley. Chief Warrant Officer 3 Donovan Briley’s nickname was “Bull.” On October 3, 1993, Bull was the co-pilot of the lead Black Hawk in the United States’ mission to Mogadishu to sn**ch two Somali military leaders. Mr. Briley and his pilot, Cliff “Elvis” Wolcott, had safely flown Super-Six-One into the city. But they never left. Somali fighters knocked them out of the sky with a rocket-propelled gr***de. Mr. Briley and Mr. Wolcott died instantly in the crash. When Donovan drew the assignment for Somalia, he and his family were living at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, where he was a Black Hawk pilot with the U.S. Army 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR), better known as Night Stalkers. Micah tells of growing up with his brother in a military family and how all four boys were third-generation military members. Let us not forget the sacrifice that was made so that we can live in the Land of the free and the home of the Brave!

Doc Brian sits down with Neil Gray, an Arkansas native and Associate Minister shares his story about his road to recovery. His account of addiction is familiar. A sports injury leading to two surgeries left him addicted to pain medication. Graduating to methamphetamine, stealing, and two su***de attempts, Neil’s eyes were open when he was arrested. A story with a lot of hope and a great ending.

Jesse Lyon is a licensed mental health counselor and owner of Lyon Counseling in Casselberry Florida. He graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling and has experience in substance abuse at The Salvation Army and with Autistic Spectrum Disorder during his time as a therapist with several Orlando based agencies. Although he is sought out for his work with teens and young adults, Mr. Lyon works with a variety of topics from marriage issues, depression and anxiety to questions of sexuality and identity.
