Charlie ❤️ Update.. Thanks so much for all the love and kind words recently regarding little Charlie, if you’ve see our last few updates and video you’ll know he’s been in the wars for the last couple of weeks… He’s still not back to himself completely but Charlie is doing better everyday. Yesterday he ate more than the day before and that’s been the pattern for the last few days, he actually had his dental treat last night for the first time in almost 3 weeks!

He’s on antibiotics now after another vet visit on the way back to the land.. We’ll share a short video on YouTube and across our other socials later this afternoon to update how he’s doing and his health situation.. Apart from all the weight he’s lost (now down to 7kgs from 9.5kgs) We see signs of our Charlie back again, tail up, bright eyed and even playing a little with Dizzee! Thanks again all for the love for our sweet furbaby .. ❤️❤️

Happy Thursday.. 🥰.. We’ve been hiding out on the coast these last few days and here’s a happy moment on the boardwalk.. The mood has been a little up and down.. It’s way cooler here compared to inland so obviously that makes life easier and having a break away from the land and all the ongoing projects is definitely what we all needed. But..
We’re still concerned about our little Charlie Bear, he’s doing alright but getting him to eat anything has been a real struggle and he’s lost a fair bit of weight😢.. We decided to take him off the medication and yesterday was the first day he actually ate a decent amount of food in like 10 days! Today we’re just hoping that continues🤞.. We explain more in our new YouTube video but for now we’re taking things easy and living day by day, trying to keep Charlie happy, relaxed and make him hungry!

So tonight’s video is all about tornadoes, unbearable heat and spiders the size of your hand.. 😳.. But don’t worry, there’s some positive stuff in the video too.. Link to our new video below👇❤️

Charlie Bear Update: he was pretty disoriented last night and very wobbly after sleeping the whole day.. So we’re lowering the dose to just a quarter of a pill this morning, he’s lost his appetite too, so been a bit of a struggle getting just a small amount of food in him, we’re on call with the vet so see what she says once she gets our updates today.. Another hot day here but as he just wants to sleep all day it’s easy to keep him cool right next to the AC duct.. He’s such a precious little doggie.. Thanks for all the love to him in the comments section after last nights YT video folks, we all really appreciate it..❤️ (will leave video link below if you need to catch up) Have a lovely Friday❤️.. Happy Friday folks! We’ve got some more really hot weather on the way, surprise, surprise 😆.. It’s been a really hot June so far with lots of days over 35 degrees! We (of course) expected this to arrive soon but was hoping for a little more time to be prepared.. 🥵 We’re basically making the little building on our land into a ‘chill-out’ area for those hot afternoons, somewhere to relax, watch a movie, go on our laptops etc when it’s too hot to be outside.. It’s very exciting and we’re lucky enough that it’s not too much work to make it into something special🥰.. We also have other plans in place to ‘escape’ the heat and if you seen last nights YouTube video, you’ll know what I’m talking about!

Vinny’s Place! 🌳🌅

If it wasn’t for this little old camper then we may not have bought land right now, sounds crazy right😆.. I’m sure he’s not the only reason really😳.. But we desperately wanted to find a nice retirement spot for him and I guess we succeeded! Most people would sell off cheap or scrap an old van that isn’t really being used anymore but we just couldn’t do that and now Vinny is the perfect guest accommodation for anyone who visits, he’s got everything you need 🚐❤️.. Has anyone else kept a vehicle for longer than they should have because they became ‘attached’ or is it just us?!🤭..
