It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our very own Snarky B**b Queens, Mary Allers-Korostynski.

Mary was a wife, mother, and an amazing lactation consultant.

Mary believed in serving others and spent the early part of her nursing career in public health, supporting underserved populations.

She was a fierce advocate for breastfeeding and passionate about helping mothers and babies.

Mary had the privilege of serving thousands of women during her impressive career as an IBCLC.

Mary provided evidence-based and family-centric care, and her empathetic bedside manner allowed her to connect deeply with her patients.

Mary's legacy and impact will be felt in years to come.

“Breastfeeding reminds us of the universal truth of abundance; the more we give out, the more we are filled up, and that divine nourishment – the source from which all draw is, like a mother’s breast, ever full and ever flowing.” —Sarah Buckley.

In lieu of flowers, Mary's family requested donations be directed to La Leche League International: https://llli.org/donate/

🌍✨ Happy Earth Day! ✨🌍

Today, as we celebrate our beautiful planet, let's also celebrate a choice that benefits both our babies and the Earth – breastfeeding!

Did you know that breastfeeding can save up to 153 kilograms of CO2 emissions per baby?

That’s right! By choosing to breastfeed, you’re not only nurturing your baby but also significantly reducing waste and saving natural resources.

Breast milk is a perfectly packaged miracle that comes with zero waste – no need for manufacturing, no packaging, and no transport. It's all-natural, renewable, and made with love. 💚

So today, let's give ourselves a pat on the back for making an eco-friendly choice that contributes to our planet's health.

Keep going strong, mamas! You are making a difference with every drop. 🌎💪❤️
