On October 25, 2025, the Presentation of Mary (PM) family celebrated their 75th Anniversary in the Philippines at Holy Cross College of Calinan (HCCC) campus, honoring the life-long mission of service that began in Siasi, Sulu, on October 26, 1950.

The event gathered PM Sisters from around the world, led by Superior General Mother Maria dos Anjos Alves, PM, along with the General Administration Board, Provincial Superior Sr. Charito B. Gorgonio, PM, and other PM Sisters and novitiates from various provinces.

Festivities began with a lively parade through Calinanโ€™s streets, where PM visitors rode colorfully decorated โ€œumbaks,โ€ symbolizing joy and gratitude. Upon arrival, they were greeted by the HCCC Marching Band and later toured several themed stations, including a historical exhibit, fruit booths, and a โ€œFiesta sa Nayonโ€ featuring โ€˜lechonโ€™ and other local refreshments including โ€˜tuba.โ€™

The formal program opened with a welcome message from Sr. Charito B. Gorgonio, PM, followed by Sr. Cherie Eloisa Garrote, PM, HCCC President, who introduced the visiting missionaries. A cultural presentation from the Basic Education and College students then depicted the 75-year legacy of the PM Philippine Province through music, dance, and theatre. An audiovisual tribute produced by Mary's Guide Post and HCCC Production Team followed, highlighting the missionariesโ€™ lasting impact.

To honor past missionaries, Sr. Charito Gorgonio, PM, led the Posthumous Awards, while Sr. Cherie Garrote, PM, presented tokens of gratitude to the guests. The celebration concluded with a communal dinner filled with laughter, fellowship, and thanksgiving.

The 75th Anniversary of the Presentation of Mary Sisters in the Philippines served as a powerful reminder of their enduring commitment to faith, education, and serviceโ€”celebrating the pioneers who began the mission and inspiring the PM Family to continue their legacy of love and dedication to God and humanity.

The Holy Cross College of Calinan (HCCC) campus reverberated with gratitude and joy as the institution celebrated the Hearts of Service, an extension of the Employeesโ€™ Day commemoration. The event took place yesterday, October 24, and was dedicated to recognizing resignees, former employees, and current employees who have become part of the schoolโ€™s journey.

The celebration began with a Eucharistic Mass officiated by Reverend Fr. Ruperto Jamili III, who, through his homily, set a solemn and thankful atmosphere. The schoolโ€™s marching band followed with a lively performance, marking the start of the festivities.

In her welcome remarks, School President Sr. Cherie Eloisa L. Garrote, PM, expressed appreciation to both resignees and current employees for their dedication and sacrifices. She emphasized that their faith, service, and commitment continue to strengthen the HCCC community.

The program featured a series of performances, including a folk dance and a song impersonation that entertained the audience. Musical numbers such as a vocal duet, an intermission performance, and a tribute song by teachers added warmth and nostalgia to the occasion.

Moreover, an audio-visual presentation revisited the lives and contributions of the resignees and former employees, highlighting their lasting impact on the institutionโ€™s mission. The recognition segment followed, where resignees, former employees, and current employees received certificates and tokens of appreciation as symbols of gratitude for their years of service and unwavering commitment.

The celebration concluded with a community dance joined by resignees, and both former and current employees, embodying the true spirit of unity and service from the heart.
