So thrilled to announce that the film

This is our first festival appearance for LVNI! And we are still in shock, full of pride and thankful.

It’s been a crazy busy news day, I almost forgot to celebrate. Uptown Girl Productions turns TWO! Two years of storytelling, learning more & more with each project about my community, meeting all of you, and just doing the work that I’m passionate about. That’s the beauty of it - I’m passionate about what I do - everything else is a plus. This all started because I decided to take what I already do for a living and apply it to my community, as a way to preserve our culture amidst rapid, RAPID changes. (And emotions).
Thank you so much for supporting my content. You all give me energy to keep pushing forward. This is only the beginning, pa’lante siempre, gracias uptown 💖🌞

VOTE HIM OUT! Today is the last day to register to vote. Are you registered? If you’re not, you can do so online, but thanks to , you can stop by on Dyckman and Nagle today between 4 and 7pm to get registered. For people in my generation & younger: I know that we are dealing with the lesser of two evils, but not voting at all isn’t a power move - it’s a vote to keep that man in office. Please exercise your right to vote this election season. Early voting begins October 24th and Election Day is November 3rd. We aren’t only voting for President - check out who’s on your ballot on ballotpedia.com.

They spoke about why they are running, why they believe they are fit, how they would contribute to our community & more. Uptown Girl Productions and Studio 92 got together to create a special piece about community. We wanted to show how communities are uniting and fighting together. Communities are protesting and educating themselves and each other. Communities are loving, inspiring, protecting, defending and holding each other up. This is only the beginning and there’s a long road ahead of a centuries long fight to bring justice to victims of police brutality, to bring down systemic racism and oppression and to end the virus that is white supremacy.
