Ang totoo niyan, pagod na tayong lahat. Bawat isa ay may pinapasang bigat. May magagaling magpanggap, pero karamihan, umaaming hindi makausad.

Naging normal na ang pagtanggap sa hirap. Nauso ang mga naudlot na pangarap, mga planong hindi natupad. Naging mailap ang tiyak. Naging malabo ang hinaharap. At sa katotohanang pagod na tayong lahat, hinanap ko ang sarili kong yakap.

Sapagkat napagtanto kong pahinga ang kasunod ng pagsadsad. Na may laang oras upang maghilom ang mga sugat. Na ang paghinto ay hindi nangangahulugang pagbagsak. At ang paglipad ay hindi nangangailangan ng pakpak — kun’di ng pasensya at pagsusumikap, ng pagpapakumbaba kahit nakaka-angat.

Ang totoo niyan, pagod na tayong lahat. At ang pumapawi sa mga araw nating masaklap, ay sarili rin nating may mataas na pangarap. Pagod tayo, pero hindi pagod mangarap. Nakasadsad tayo, pero sabik pa rin sa alapaap. Hindi nawawala ang kagustuhan nating makaahon sa hirap —

At kahit pagod na tayong lahat, hangad pa rin natin ang magandang hinaharap.

I know you have always prayed for the day you will finally meet someone who wants to help you grow in life. What I don't know right now is why you are bent on choosing the better person instead of choosing the person who is doing everything they can to make you a better you. ‎

I also don't know why you won't stay grounded with the person who has accepted you for who you are, appreciates the little details of your life and supports you no matter what. ‎

Don't be so desperate, into accepting the better person and start wondering why they are acting like they don't care, like they don't feel anything. Don’t go back to places you’ve outgrown just because you’re comfortable there. ‎

Don't get caught up seeking a better person that you end up settling for someone that will eventually destroy you. Don't get caught up in what looks all put together that you end up with someone who doesn't know how to take care of your soul, your well-being, and your heart. ‎

I know you have been an adventurer at heart, but I need you to see the light through the crack in what you are about to do. Don't get attached to what is not meant for you, so you don't spend your life apologizing for how you feel or who you have become. ‎
