Made a speech outside the cowardly yesterday, calling out their complicity in silencing and art depicting violence against women in South Africa, tbe genocide of people in Namibia, and the genocide of the Palestinian people. Apparently, the Goodman doesn't like it when we speak about decolonisation. So much for freedom of expression, like how they defended white artist Brett Bailey when he painted The Spear. Is artistic critique only valid when it's against people of colour? Or by white artists? Or is it that the funding comes from Zionists? Which one is it? They weren't even there for First Thursday. Instead they had a laughable sign in the window reading, "The Goodman Gallery supports freedom of expression." Like, bi***es what? You're delulu.
