Lure of the Temptress pulls you in with clever puzzles, a living world, and a very decent opening soundtrack. Revolution’s debut felt slick, immersive, and utterly captivating when I first played it back in 1992! Whether you’re a Monkey Island fan or new to point-and-click adventures, it’s impossible not to give this one a whirl 😇🕹️👌

The Last V8 lured you in with superb music and sharp visuals, then hurled you into one of the most punishing driving challenges on the C64! Controlling the car felt like steering a rocket-powered trolley, all while racing a merciless clock. Gorgeous to look at, great to listen to – but playing it? That’s another story - and here we dive in and take a retrospective look back at David Darlings cruel little post-apocalyptic racer 😇🕹️👌

Switchblade captures a moody, atmospheric feel with its shadowy Undercity and cleverly designed maps that make exploration genuinely rewarding. There’s plenty to uncover in its winding tunnels and hidden corners, even if Hiro’s rather stiff movements don’t always do the setting justice. Still... give it a whirl If you haven't played this before, you might just like it... 😇🕹️👌

Arabian Nights wasn’t the sort of C64 game you’d blitz in an afternoon.. it was very tough indeed. The speech sounds a bit rough by today’s standards, but the mix of familiar ideas made for a frustrating yet oddly addictive challenge. Lose a life and the word “ARABIAN” vanishes, which wasn’t exactly kind. If you’ve played Ian Gray’s China Miner, you’ll spot the similarities, but there’s enough action here to keep most budding sultans hooked for a good stretch 😇🕹️👌

720° on the C64 might look a bit drab, but don’t let the moody visuals fool you—there’s a solid arcade conversion under the hood. The controls take some getting used to, and yes, the events repeat, but the frantic pacing, clever layout, and Daglish’s soundtrack pull it all together. Stick with it, and there’s a surprisingly addictive skater buried in the greys 😇🕹️👌

The graphics won’t wow you, but the swinging, shooting action of Bionic Commando more than makes up for it. That bionic arm isn’t just a gimmick—it’s slick, satisfying, and keeps the pace lively. Once you're into level two, it’s hard to stop. A cracking arcade conversion which I fondly enjoyed playing as a kid 😇🕹️👌

Launched in 1984 by jazz-fusion maestro Ryo Kawasaki, Kawasaki Rhythm Rocker transformed the C64 into a beat-crafting workshop, where you could tinker with tempo and dub on the fly. Less a game, more a jam session, it did feel ahead of its time. But does it now feel like a relic from a bygone synth age? Let’s find out 😇🕹️👌
