Time is running out for Al Ittihad and the Saudi Pro League to make a move for Liverpool's Mo Salah.

After a £150m offer was rejected last Thursday, the day before the English transfer window closed, the club and the league have been considering returning with another bid - and now must do today if they are to secure their man.

Liverpool's position has not changed - Salah is not for sale.

Max Verstappen won the Italian Grand Prix from Red Bull team-mate Sergio Perez and Carlos Sainz to become the first driver to win 10 consecutive F1 races.

Verstappen, who started from second, overtook pole-sitter Sainz before the first and only pit stops to secure victory and surpass Sebastian Vettel's record of nine straight wins from 2013.

Romelu Lukaku is expected to formally sign his season-long loan deal with Roma today after undergoing a medical on Tuesday.
The move is a straight loan with a fee worth between £7m to £8m depending on performance-related conditions. Roma will cover Lukaku's wages after he agreed to a salary cut for the remaining three years of his Chelsea contract.

Max Verstappen claimed a ninth straight Formula One victory at the Dutch Grand Prix on Sunday to match the record set by Sebastian Vettel in 2013.

Verstappen overcame two heavy rain showers at either end of the event and a 45-minute red flag delay to win in front of his home crowd, moving him closer to a third consecutive championship.

The Dutchman leads Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez by 138 points and is on course to wrap up the title at the Qatar Grand Prix in early October.

Verstappen has won every race since May's Miami Grand Prix and will surpass Vettel if he wins the Italian Grand Prix on Sept. 3.

Michael Olise has committed his future to Crystal Palace by signing a new four-year contract amid interest from Chelsea, Eagles owner Steve Parish has confirmed.

The news comes a day after it was reported Chelsea had activated a £35m release clause in Olise's previous contract with Palace.
