Sailors in new stripes \\\

The new home & away kits reflect & honour the "Champions in Blue" identity.

Both are crafted with contrasting halftone dotted patterns for added texture and a dynamic visual effect to both jerseys.

The Home and Away kits ($85 for adults, $65 for kids) and fanwear tees ($49 for adults, $39 for kids) will be launched in limited quantities on 12 July at adidas Brand Centre Orchard.

From 11am - 1pm, fans can join in the fun with a meet & greet with Lion City Sailors players, photos with Helix the mascot, and enjoy complimentary popsicles.

Members of adiClub and The Deck (Lion City Sailors’ membership programme) will receive 10% off nameset and number printing with any purchase of the Home or Away kit at Brand Centre Orchard only.

The late Portuguese star played in both Liverpool's pre-season games against Leicester & Bayern at the Singapore National Stadium back in 2023.

He & his brother Andre Silva were killed in a fatal car crash in Spain.

Classics reimagined. A look at some of the latest adidas drops.

The on-field version of the jerseys are constructed with the latest adidas performance apparel technology, HEATR.DY, to maximise air flow to keep players feeling cool.

The fan version features AEROREADY technology, which uses sweat-wicking or absorbent materials to keep the body feeling dry.

Both on-field version ($189) and fan version ($115) are available for purchase via adidas.com.sg and selected retailers.

Tsutomu Ogura had informed the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) of his decision several weeks ago citing the need to return to his home country to attend to pressing personal matters.

In the press statement released by FAS, efforts were made by the Executive Committee to 'facilitate his continured tenure' but the nature of the personal issues were said to have been 'untenable' for him to continue his role.

Meanwhile, former BG Tampines Head Coach Gavin Lee is appointed interim, while the search for a permanent Head Coach is underway.

Ogura's last match in charge was the Lion's 2-1 win over Bangladesh in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifier just 2 weeks ago.

Giant inflatables will also transform the venue into a playground for children of all ages, with complimentary ice cream and beverages on offer.

❌️ The Singapore vs Hong Kong Women's National Team friendly at Choa Chu Kang Stadium was abandoned after the Lightning Warning System (LWS) was activated.

⚽️ The visitors were 1-0 up when the match was abandoned in the 50th minute.

⚡️Originally kicking off at 5PM, the match was already delayed 30 minutes during the first-half.

🚨 With the LWS triggered again minutes into the second-half, the decision was made to call off the match at around 7.30PM.

❎️ According to on-site accounts, the pitch was also described as 'unplayable'.

After 8 years with the club, Desmond Ong will step down as Chairman of BG Tampines Rovers.

He will be replaced by Japanese investment banker Shungo Sakamoto - an executive director and founder of investment company Sakamoto Capital, formerly known as Black Clover.

The 56-year old lawyer had shared a moment with Head Coach Gavin Lee at the prize presentation ceremony after their Singapore Cup Final defeat.

The Straits Times has confirmed the change in leadership, as both fans & players took to social media to express their appreciation for the outgoing chairman over the past 2 days.

Having been elected as deputy president of the new FAS council, Desmond will remain a member of the Stags' management committee.
