Serpent Dweller (US) - Arid Realm Beyond Death (Full Length) 2025

After two demo tapes, the essence of Serpent Dweller has been steeped into a deeper meditation of death worship. The first full length offering follows the experience of one unknowingly entering the afterlife; bewildering sights of what lies beyond the veil, dissolution of the ego, and the inescapable surrender at the end of mortality. Exploring themes of pain, loss, and the soul’s journey through uncharted planes of existence, the omnipresent shadow of death is venerated at every turn. She is the timeless truth, for all that live and die.

Album was Written entrapped within the Circle Crowned by pain and loss of 2023.
Recorded 2024 in Corona.

W tym tygodniu przedstawiam kolejny skład lutowej edycji, dzisiaj prezentacja a w tygodniu pojawi się jeszcze recenzja oraz wywiad z duetem 2020.
Czas na przedstawienie kolejnego wystrzału najbliższej edycji.
2020 to warszawsko-łódzki twór, dwa miasta, dwóch ludzi, jedna obskurna przestrzeń i wizja. Muzycznie to black metal, zresztą wydane w Victims Of Fate kasetowe demo "Konwulsje" już od początku dobitnie obrazuje, że to najczarniejsze pomruki ale z głębi ciemnych, cuchnących i zarzyganych piwnic. Maniakalny wokal i opętańcze dźwięki gitarowo-perkusyjne dopełniają tą muzyczną wycieczkę. Członkowie 2020 to twórcy z szerokimi horyzontami muzycznymi ograni w kilku mniej lub bardziej znanych grupach co absolutnie nie powinno wpływać na odbiór muzyki przez ten pryzmat. 2020 to kompletnie inna muzyczna, właśnie surowa konwulsja odcięta zardzewiałą i tępą siekierą od tego co tworzyli dwaj muzycy w innych składach. Ja osobiście czuje zawsze jakieś przyciąganie do dwu osobowych składów, pewnie przez fascynacje pierwszymi składami Samael, Pandemonium... Ale nie o tym tutaj.
2020 już od jakiegoś czasu przygotowuje nowy a już śmierdzący zatęchłą piwnicą materiał, który planowany jest na ten rok. Zespół chce uniknąć wydania CD czyli na pewno będzie to kaseta i jeżeli się uda to także vinyl. Najbliższe plany koncertowe po Bydgoszczy to kwietniowy występ w Wilnie.
