Yes, this is the world's first TV that has no wires i.e. it is wireless and does not require electricity to operate.
The TV was introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
An American start-up, Display, has developed this TV, which has no wires, but is powered by a battery.
The TV has 4 batteries and according to the company, on a single charge the TV can last up to a month (if used for 6 hours per day) after which it needs to be recharged.
This TV also has a technology called Active Loop Vacuum (2 strips) which allows the TV to be operated on any surface.
That is, it can be stuck to the window, placed on the wall or placed anywhere on the floor.
Along with being wireless, this device does not require a remote control to operate, but can be operated with hand gestures.
A camera is provided at the top of the TV for this purpose.
This TV also has a separate base unit box that needs to be plugged into a power socket and supports streaming content via Wi-Fi.
This TV is equipped with a 55-inch display with no ports.
According to the company, this TV will be offered for sale by the end of 2023 with a price of 3 thousand dollars.
