The Liberal Party is no longer a viable.

It's been Led by Too Many Duds.

Look at Susan Ley.

She's dropped the primary vote to 27 😆

One Nation is now at 16 percent.

The conservatives are just so hopeless. They've failed.

Its so bad, Albo can win in a Landslide with 33 percent of the vote.

Heres what I think should happen.

The Liberals should just 100 percent quit.

Run Zero Candidates. Recognise that Modern Wet Liberals are not Menzies.

Get One Nation and the Nationals to Merge.

The Conservative Libs can join up too.

Call it something new.

The Principles would be simple:
- Pro small business
- Pro manufacturing in Australia
- Pro sustainable immigration
- Anti big bank
- Pro competition policy
- Pro open Land Use
- Libertarian on Social Issues (let people be who they want to be)
- Pro cheap energy
- Pro sensible land management
- Lower moderate taxation
- Pro front line services
- Anti wasteful bureaucracy

And make Jacinta Price the first Leader. 😆

Can I just say a big thank you to one of my followers ?

Yesterday I asked for some 'old' windows 10 machines for my new AI Youth Program

Not only did someone say Yes... They said Yes in an Extraordinary way.

They offered up NINE X1 Carbon Lenovo ThinkPads. Ex Corporate Fleet Computers

They were probably 2k - 2.5k about 3-4 years ago. I7 machines, tippy top

I'm thrilled!! Thank you!! you know who you are.

One had a dud battery. I just ordered one. Good to go!

Musk was beamed in Live for a speech where he absolutely crushed the media

I see the Police tried to control the crowd

They were simply removed from being in the way 😆

All things considered it was also very civilized

Imagine being a 'Political analayst' in Britain

Some Intel from on the ground

A friend of mine (a very capable person) was made redundant probably 3 months ago and he just wrote me this:

"Victoria is gone,

"I have applied for over 70 roles and many of them were advertised, you apply - and when you get to the later stages you (or the hiring manager finds out) the company big wigs have freezed hiring"

AND

"A lot of the roles that are advertised aren't even real"

"it's just companies advertising for roles to look like they're winning work in that field"

"You talk to them and realise quickly no one's winning much of anything"

"I have some funds in the kitty, so I can weather the storm but others are not going to be so lucky would suggest we are at 7% unemployed in Victoria and the average time to get a new role 90-120 days"

Id tend to agree with this assessment.

That's what I feel is going on too.

I see very few good roles advertised now and I think the salaries being offered are 30-40 percent lower than before too.

So add up a 30 percent pay cut. A 50 percent cost increase on cost of living and your getting a massive reduction in living standards.

And we still have our foot flat to the floor printing money to build trains from Monash to Deakin.

Who wants to do a Degree spending that kind of money in a state with No Jobs.

Oh and the price of 200s is coming down too.

Must be bad.

Announcement

I had a bit of a breakthrough yesterday

I'm building a program for 'youth' to learn AI to have more agency and impact in their lives

I've managed to get a real school to give me 8 real kids next term to work with in a Pilot

There's been a ton of work behind it. It's good stuff.

But one problem.

I think I'll face is a bunch of school computers that are totally locked down.

Id like to bring some specialist machines for the kids to use running Linux.

Ask of my Audience.

Do you have an old windows 10 laptops that will be trashed soon?

SSD hard drive, 4-8gb of RAM is fine. Even if the battery is dead I can fix.

I'm going to wipe them and install Linux on them so Zero Software needed.

If anyone in the Vic / Melbourne area has a Flogged out one they want to bin --

Id greatfully take it off your hands.

Why autonomy matters

There's been a number of stories now, of journalists driving Teslas from Sydney to Melbourne completely autonomously on Full Self Driving

All of them have breathlessly said you need to watch the road, and it's not too aggressive, and it's set to be a bit slow which can be annoying for 'good drivers' etc

And for those reasons it's maybe not quite ready

Yeah except in the US that's not a thing 🤣

And Elon can probably update those points in about 10 minutes

What people have missed here is FSD already works. It's already demonstrably 17x safer than a human driver

Elon is even talking about offering Insurance at a fraction of the costs for vehicles using Autopilot..

Further to this. The entire San Francisco Bay Area is now running Robo Taxis Trials

It's also been going on in Austin as well

And by all honest reports the service is great

Why this matters?

Whether you like it or not it changes the economics of driving

The Tesla Model Y at 65K is probably the cheapest car you can buy right now

It may even make you a profit to buy 1

If Robo Taxis Launches and Flogged out 2025 model Ys are compatible you might find it's a money printing machine

I think that's why Elon didn't give a toss about his brand reputation

Buy a Tesla. don't buy a Tesla. He can deploy all his cars to himself and still make money

He can also licence the tech to other motor companies if you don't like his

None of them are seriously close to catching up

Which brings me to all the Chinese Cars

If none of those have comparable autonomy systems and they're not THAT much Cheaper how do they remain Credible(?)

This is particularly acute when you realize that most of the brands are completely new

So be careful.

You might think that 45k -60k EV is better than a Tesla

But you might be buying a complete and Utter Lemon

Dunno if I'd want to be in that group

We create 'FREE' places. train 2,000 people to effectively waste their time for 3 years being Not only Unproductive, but they take Productive skills to train them

Then we have no Jobs for 2000 of them
