FACE-TO-FACE IS REAL
Maliwalo opens gates to learners, begins in-person teaching, learning
From planning, making preparations and conducting studies to doing orientations and re-orientations to teachers, learners, parents and stakeholders, from passing the division evaluation to considering national and local government guidelines, Maliwalo National High School on March 21 implemented the limited face-to-face classes.
“Today marks the start of the limited face-to-face classes for our students from Grade 7 to 12. We are delighted that the grounds of our school have, at last, been opened to cater our students.” said Dr. Ruby Ana T. Pineda, principal of MNHS.
In her speech, Pineda commended teachers, heads, parents, learners and stakeholders for their participation, dedication and efforts in the realization of the face-to-face classes.
Meanwhile, teachers, heads and staff welcomed selected learners as early as 7:00 in the morning in the gate to educate them in sanitizing their hands and in checking their body temperature upon entering, guide them in understanding and following traffic routes and signages, and even answer their queries.
Health and safety protocols were strictly observed and maintained. The attendance of the learners was also checked. Further, mobility of the learners and teachers was monitored.
Generally, the first day of the implementation of the limited face-to-face classes was successful, according to committee heads.
