Cette semaine sur TAIK 54, nous mettons en lumière Jean-Jacques Muyembe, le virologue congolais qui a aidé à détecter et à diagnostiquer Ebola lors de sa première épidémie en 1976. Surnommé le « chasseur africain d'Ebola », le travail révolutionnaire de Muyembe a permis de sauver d'innombrables vies et de renforcer le rôle de l'Afrique dans le leadership mondial en matière de santé.

Les scientifiques africains ne sont pas de simples participants ; ce sont des leaders qui façonnent le monde.
