Camping at Sierra Grove in Sampaloc, Tanay is a refreshing escape, just about two hours away from Manila.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff—and even a few farm animals! The campsite is secure, and each group is assigned a private camping area, which was both spacious and clean.
When we visited, the weather was cool and breezy, with cloudy skies. Light rain passed through in the afternoon and occasionally at night, making the evenings especially cold.
After setting up our tent and other gear, we got our power station ready so we could charge our phones and camera.
The first day was a bit tiring from all the prep, but we were instantly rewarded with stunning mountain views and lush greenery all around.
