After 32 years behind the wheel, UPS driver Jim completed his final route.

For the past 15 years, he delivered through the Rhapsody neighborhood in Victoria, building close bonds with countless families. One of them, the Withingtons—owners of a local art business—organized a heartfelt sendoff. Their driveway was decked out with signs, balloons, and a cake topped with a miniature UPS truck. Neighbors joined in, placing signs in their windows, writing cards, and lining the street to cheer as Jim arrived.

“He was always so sweet to us. My sisters and I loved seeing him. We just wanted to make his last day special because he really deserves it,” said 13-year-old Peyton Withington.

For the Withington family, Jim was far more than a delivery driver. “Jim is somebody who’s so much more to us than just the person who drops off boxes—he’s become part of our lives.”

🦔 Muffin is a 10-month-old hedgehog owned by Harriet Mahlik of Minnetrista. When Harriet set her goal of owning a hedgie, she spent 9️⃣ months completing a chore checklist ✅ without missing a day!

She welcomed Muffin on her 9th birthday 🎉 last September and they were fast friends 💕. Even though she's pretty pokey 🐾 and nocturnal 🌙 (and very noisy on her wheel 🛞), Muffin has won over our hearts ❤️.

🌞 Summer Mexicorn Dip 🌽
It’s that time of year to relax on the patio, dock, or boat with family and friends. Grab a container of this crowd-pleasing dip and enjoy the flavors of summer!

Ingredients:

8 oz. sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
2 cans Mexicorn, drained
4 green onions, chopped
4 jalapeños, chopped
12 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
2 tsp cumin
2 tsp chili powder
½ tsp sugar
½ tsp garlic salt
¼ tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Chill until ready to serve. Enjoy with tortilla chips!
