Forgiveness and Reconciliation are different.
It is ok to forgive but not to reconcile especially if that/those person/s hurt you deeply. If a person didn’t reconcile to the one who offended them doesn’t mean they didn’t forgive the person offended them completely? No!
Forgiveness is setting yourself free from the prison of the person who hurts you. Reconciliation is not about bitterness or pride because a person can’t reconcile to the person who hurt you. Reconciliation is giving a chance to a person to let them part of you again. And that’s how trust comes. Are you willing to entrust again and the person who hurt you that almost killed you?

Forgiveness and reconciliation are different.
Reconciliation is not about un forgiveness and bitterness. Reconciliation is entrusting your life again to the person who hurts you.
