For anyone wondering what’s currently happening with the project, the next 3 months is all about hunkering down, raising funds to support editing, and getting to the rough cut (rough draft) of the film. Wish us luck!

It was a kind of a night at Twin Cities Oktoberfest last night in the Progress Center/Eco Experience building! 😍🍻🍺

We had so much fun - the event is going on again today (10/5) from noon-10pm. Go get a beer from Chip and a tipsy pie from Sara, and tell ‘em we sent ya!

Added bonus - they have picnic tables set up in the grassy campground area, and I failed to get any photos but it’s lovely back there when it’s not packed with campers!

🚨New episode alert! The first half of our 2025 Competition Episode features Annie & Molly - who both enter competitions at the state fair.

Annie entered in sewing categories, scrapbooking, AND crop art! We learned about our new favorite category we never knew existed: “Fruit or vegetable doll (not made from produce) must have head, arms and legs.” 😆😍

Molly walks us through her politically themed crop art and treasured memories of the fair! Special bonus - we get to hear about their pop-up wedding in the Ag-Hort building!

The second half of our 2025 Competition Episode features baked goods competitor Anne Ahiers. We caught up with Anne moments after she dropped off her short bread entries in the Creative Activities Building - and she even brought samples for us to try! 😋

Anne is also one third of the sibling trio behind on Instagram - they try ALL the official new foods on the first day of the fair, and post their reviews on Instagram!

You may remember this exhibit was originally called The Land of 10,000 Beers, and features flights of locally made beer - including an NA flight!
