Laura is the host of The Not Neurotypical Podcast, creator of the #ActuallyUnmasking campaign which focuses on healthy unmasking related to autistic masking, founder of The Not Neurotypical Squad, an Autism Advocate (sharing her experiences as an autistic adult and parenting autistic children), As a parent to 3; ages 3-9 all with varying abilities, Laura has a wealth of emotional, practical and lived experience both working with and raising neurodivergent children, all 3 of which are on the spectrum with different comorbid conditions including ADHD, DCD/Dyspraxia, Anxiety, Epilepsy, Developmental Delay, and a Language Disorder.

Laura was diagnosed with ADHD as a child and then late-diagnosed with Autism at age 34. She is now committed to empowering, supporting, educating and advocating for:


  • Neurodivergent/ late-diagnosed adults on the spectrum.

  • Neurodivergent children experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioral challenges.
