For the past several years we've hosted our DSI Archives/Records "Band Showcase" at the Westover Beergarden over the 4th of July weekend. This years heat dome did not stop the music or energy, Fat Nave, Seven Corners, Swingamajig and Jonny Cohen on Friday and Don Zientara and his DonZ Scheme, Gigi Marie and Mike Benish on Saturday all brought great music despite the oppressive temps. Saturday's military flyovers were the backdrop for Gigi's set with Air Force 1 a B52 and multiple WOD passing right overhead during her set. Thank you to those folks who joined us in the heat, Westover Market & Beergarden staff and management and to all of the bands and folks who've helped out over the years, especially Dee Loeber, Matt Rehfuss and Sean Tracy. The next 4th of July weekend falls in 2031, we'll see you at the party.
