Who do you want to stress from reading a comprehension of nonsense. You are celebrating independence of no education, independence of poverty, independence of insecurity. What exactly are you celebrating? A win or loss? Success or failure? What can our forefathers say about The Giant of Africa they made? Is it still a Giant, or it's now a mocking embodiment? ASUU reflect on A Nigeria, where foreigners come to gain knowledge, where indigenes become locally made products of development, where Professor Abu Kasim and Dr Albert Onuigbo will meet Engr. Charles and talk to Hon. Peter about the next gen project of NSSUKA 200Level students. Where Hackathons will be the BBNaija everyone anticipates, where project defense becomes the science fair the "oyinbo's" come to display to us. ASUU I am tired of talking or preaching or writing, you are my main focus because you decide what happens to the future of the leaders of tomorrow. They say "change begins with you", truly change begins with you.

RESUMPTION OF WORK

This is to inform all Deans, Deputy Deans, Directors, and their Deputies, as well as Heads of Department to resume work immediately for the commencement of Second Semester for 2020/2021 Academic Session.

This information also include all Deputy Registrars, Deputy Bursars and Coordinators.

The aforementioned are also expected to monitor resumption of staff under them for the smooth running of the session.

“RETURN BACK TO CAMPUS”
Doctor Bello Advices all IBBUL Students:

During the early hours of today a lecturer of IBB University advised all Students of IBB University to return back to their various Departments and resume all academic activities, “Nobody would come and call you in your Hostels” he said.
According to him he said: not all Lecturers are ASUU members and there are lecturers who are willing to teach he made mention of Professor Kolawole in Political Science Department who isn’t an ASUU member and he said negotiations are still on and the strike would be called off soon, He also urged the students who are around to invite other students and that we should be aware that Lectures has commenced and lecturers are available to teach.

He opined that we're not here to look at students faces when you are back to school but definitely to teach

He made mentioned of himself being an ASUU member but if my students are around he'll definitely teach as he did his first lecture on Soc 202 today

He also further stated that some lecturer came for lecture today but eventually no students there to lecture so he advised students that have resume to tell other students at home that some lecturers are available to teach and administration is on and commenced

He proclaim on the recent issue of FG sueing ASUU members to court which we obviously know that this present Govt is trying to manage to buy time to hand over to the next administration so he doesn't think the court case will finish within three to four months as we are all aware of Nigeria Court issue takes a very long time to settled

So he advised as ASUU/FG go for their court case, we should also resume back to school as lectures have commenced and some lecturers are willing to teach
The also stated that the State Government has responded to some local demands of ASUU IBB University chapter and some days back there were discussions with the Chancellor of the University (DR) Umar Faruk B

"Academic activities to resume on Monday 12th of September 2022. We are ready to lecture students."

12th of September no student in school. All lectures cancelled, strike extended.
