On Wednesday the 19th of April The Friendly Femmes Show talked about MATHS (not in anyway to be confused with MAFS please)
We talked about many mathematical things as well as playing songs about maths adding things up, putting two and two together and doing sums in our head as easy as π.
Mathematics the science of structure, order and relation is deeply embedded in physics, architecture, engineering, music, nature and is integral to our understanding of the universe and our interaction with it.
Ms Megan was engaged elsewhere so Ms Jane had Cameron (aka The Fact Checker) with her manning the deck for his first time. This was under Ms Jane's supervision as he is in training to host a show of his own on 3MDR in the future!

In today's Friendly Femmes episode we discuss Poisonous Plants and play some music related to this topic. Ms Megan has Cameron as her guest and together we discuss many (but not all as there are over 1,000!) poisonous and noxious plants that can be found in Australia. We also talk about a garden in England whose entire collection are exclusively poisonous plants, the Alnwick Garden (see photo). *correction/fact check to a statement in the program where I (Cameron) thought Ricin may have been used in the infamous Salisbury Poisoning Incident (involving the ex-pat Russian Skripals) - the poison used there was Novichok. I was confusing this with another assassination attempt in England, specifically on September 7, 1978, Bulgarian dissident Georgi Markov was jabbed in the leg in public on Waterloo Bridge, London, England by a man using a weapon built into an umbrella which fired a small pellet carrying ricin into Markov's leg. Markov died four days later.

Hard to explain but if you’re Optus & have no service you may still see signal bars - you have service from maybe Telstra or Vodafone towers in the area.
