Summer 2022 is finally here!

I always get super excited around this time of the year. School is almost over, the weather is great for traveling and there is just a jovial energy in the air.

For my friends south of the equator, I know your summer is just ending, at least for most. So make sure to buckle up and stay warm and cozy ❤️

Anyway, hi guys! I’m back for like the 1000th time 🤣Social media breaks are so essential whenever you feel they are needed, but let’s hope my next break isn’t for a while 😅

Day 9 of quarantine:

Nothing like a gorgeous African sunset to end my day. So beautiful, so peaceful, yet so glistening!!

No matter what kind of day I have, this golden hour somehow always puts a smile on my face🧡

Day 3 of quarantine:

The first thing I do when I wake up is sit outside my little balcony that is overlooking the Chobe River and I enjoy my morning tea, while I listen to the sound of the birds chirping in the trees. Sometimes I definitely get lost deep in thought😅

This exercise helps me with my morning meditations that give me the much needed pick-me-up to make sure I commit to the plan that I have for that day.

Fun question- do you guys think that:
1. I have some tea in the cup OR
2. did I finish the tea first then just use the empty cup for the gram?🤣🤣🤣

TIPS FOR ROAD TRIPPING FROM NY—> DC

1. There are so many tolls so I would suggest getting an EZpass so that you don’t have to keep stopping to pay cash. Also make sure you load up enough money on your EZpass because tolls can get pretty expensive.

2. If you have 2+ people in your vehicle, you can take advantage of the HOV lane to beat traffic ☺️

3. In New Jersey, your GPS will take a little longer to tell you when to exit, so be careful about that or else you will miss an exit!! There is usually a way to U-turn and get back on track but it’s pretty annoying because it wastes your time.

4. If you leave early, you’ll avoid traffic, just like any other day😅

5. Don’t forget your snacks to avoid stopping a lot at the rest stops, unless you have to p*e, which I did 😭Stopped at the Biden Center in Delaware.

6. Don’t forget to get your favorite playlist ready to help you stay awake and just have a great time. I could not stop playing 😍😍

7. Please always remember to check that everything in your vehicle is functioning well before you get stuck on a highway😭😭 So just plan for the unexpected and you should be fine.

Remember to take your mask with you and drive within the sp*ed limit to avoid any sp*ed traps. Happy driving!
