Never before had we been in a wind farm, and what a curious feeling it was—a mix of awe and fear. On one hand, the turbines are engineering marvels: towering, majestic, standing tall like a tribe of giants being gently combed by the wind under the warm summer sun.

On the other hand, the sound the rotors make when braking is truly eerie, and the area feels lifeless—not a single bird in sight. Maybe they’re not as eco-friendly as we think?

One of our favorite things when we travel is visiting unique places—ancient monasteries, fortresses, mines, castles, and so much more.

The massive structure you see in these photos is perched atop Mount Buzludzha, standing 1441 meters high. It's one of the largest ideological monuments ever built in Bulgaria, once serving as a Soviet congress hall in the Balkan Mountains.

With its brutalist and futuristic architecture, this giant's unmistakable silhouette can be seen from miles away, majestically crowning the mountain. Truly awe-inspiring.

Sadly, it's currently undergoing restoration after years of abandonment and vandalism due to its socialist past.

Yes, rooftop tents are much faster to set up (in some models), but are they safer? In countries where bears are abundant, I don't think it's a good idea to sleep right above where you keep the fridge and food... Friends, we are not in Australia.
