— Dario Piana is a dj, producer and remixer who’s also a collector of vinyl records. As a dj, he’s endorser in Italy of Ableton Live (Backline), Allen&Heath, Nugen Audio plug-ins and of D16 Group plug-ins.
He has spent the last 25 years of his life in the dj booth, working in hundreds of clubs with very eclectic rhythmic dj sets. He plays house, with deep, afro, electronic, jazz and funk contaminations and he always takes care of the groove. Deep and sophisticated sounds, on modern patterns.

— DJ Rocca is a producer and musician. He started to produce in late 90s working on some drum&bass and breakbeat singles as Maffia Soundsystem from the same name club in Italy, where he was the main resident DJ. In his career DJ Rocca collaborated with Howie B, Pressure Drop, Zed Bias, Dimitri From Paris, Daniele Baldelli and Jazzanova producing singles, remixes and albums on some of the best european labels as Sonar Kollektiv, Compost, Classic, Rekids, Skint, Hell Yeah, Rebirth, Internasjonal, Futureboogie Recordings, !K7, Deep Freeze, Tirk, International Feel, Defected, Skint, Gomma, Rotters Golf Club, Paper Recordings.

— Leo was the protagonist and witness of the club scene phenomenon that was born in Ibiza he played at the Amnesia club (with Alfredo) during '85, '86, '87 and '88 (The Second Summer of Love) and '90 (without Alfredo which played at Pacha).

— (Fabrizio Lazzari) was one of the pioneers and exponents of the Italian dance scene. He started his professional career in local clubs and radio stations in Italy and in 1989 was beside Leo Mas at the infamous club Movida in Iesolo.

Sampling Moods Records

The Sampling Moods Records label was founded in 2015 by Edoardo Danielli, a Milan-based DJ and music producer. The label proposes a distinct sound characterized by the use of primarily analog instrumentation and the use of samples mostly derived from soul, funk, rare groove and underground disco. The goal is to rediscover the classics with a contemporary garage house sound while respecting and valorizing the original culture. Sampling Moods Records has produced three EPs produced by Eddie Danielli: "Disco Tools;” "Goosebump;" and "Blast." The last was released posthumously. All 3 titles are distributed by rubadub.co.uk

In March 2018 friends and colleagues of Edoardo founded SAM-Sampling Moods a not-for-profit cultural foundation, in his memory and to promote the use of vinyl and the musical philosophy that he championed. The foundation specifically strives to give new or emerging DJ/Producers an opportunity to express themselves in the dj booth and in studio situations.

It was natural to decide to continue the label’s work and to produce a 4th EP-in line with Eddie's three releases: "Eddie & Friends". A musical tribute to him, a new opportunity to enjoy his musical direction and a link to new projects. The goal is to enhance his legacy and producing new artists and veterans who recognize themselves in the musical style and the philosophy of the label.
