Stage 0 • Modul’air Festival

A spatial approach to rest as experience.
A chill-out space that goes beyond pause, becoming part of the narrative.

Stage 0 redefines rest as an active, immersive experience: a sequence of atmospheres guiding visitors from intensity to calm through light, sound, and material.

Stage 0 was developed within the Masterclass in Scenography & Spatial Design at Thomas More, based in Mechelen, Belgium.

In collaboration with: Modul’air Festival .gent

Black Viper by Stefano Wase.

A post-apocalyptic landscape where light pulses like a heartbeat and industrial remnants merge with new energy. A world suspended between collapse and possibility, between breakdown and rebirth.

Wase’s practice explores the moment where the digital collapses into instability, revealing new tensions between system, ruin, and signal.
