The Silay Institute Inc. celebrated its 58th Collegiate Commencement Exercises on June 14, 2025, at the Natalio G. Velez Sports and Cultural Center with the theme "Nurturing a Generation of Excellence and Unity.
The ceremony honored 405 graduates โ 195 from the College of Business and Accountancy, 150 from the College of Education, Arts and Sciences, and 60 from the College of Computer Studies. The following graduates were presented by Dr. Mae B. Ferraro, AVP for Academics, and confirmed by the School Director, Dr. Victoria S. Mellnick.
The graduates received their diplomas and honors and were cheered by their families and friends during the emotional, pride-filled event. A special honor was conferred on the passers of the LET, who have shown remarkable achievement and commitment.
Guest speaker Ms. Lilian S. Reventar, on the other hand, highlighted the importance of Silay Institute's core valuesโIntegrity, Respect, Relevance, Innovation, Commitment, and Excellenceโas tools to live by for the rest of their lives.
Trisha Mae Dalmata, Magna Cum Laude, left a lasting impression on her fellow graduates with the words, โIt doesnโt matter how slow you grow, as long as you donโt stop."
The event concluded in celebration of perseverance and success as the Class of 2025 took the stage, prepared to build, serve, and lead in their fields.
